In case you missed it, I’m doing the 75 Hard program. All the details are here.
I mentioned in last week’s report that this week was going to go both fast and slow.
It mostly just went fast!
But…
If I think too much about where I am in the program (day 71 today), and that there are only 4 days left, then it makes the time feel slower.
So I try not to think about it.
I honestly don’t want much to change anyway when I’m done. I keep thinking about my diet and what I want to do.
After thinking about it, I’ll probably just continue counting calories and eating very close to the way I’m eating now.
I feel satisfied.
Why fix what isn’t broken?
OK, let’s move on to today’s weigh-in.
My weight went up a little today, but it’s just one of those normal fluctuations.
As a reminder, I’m 5'6":
Starting weight: 142 (But this was the day after a glorious 8-course meal, so it wasn’t my true weight.)
True starting weight: 140.3
Week 1 weigh-in: 137
Week 2: 136.3
Week 3: 136.3
Week 4: 134.5
Week 5: 135.2
Week 6: 135 (but poofy from sodium)
Week 7: 133.7
Week 8: 130.7
Week 9: 130.6
Week 10: 132
Look at all those spikes this week!
My weight is hovering right around 130 most of the time. And if that’s where I end up with my final weigh-in, I will be happy! It’s the exact goal weight I set for myself.
My clothes fit much better, and I feel better in my skin!
Now the challenge will be to keep at this weight and not slip into all my bad habits again.
How I’m feeling
I’m feeling good, but ready to move on from writing these reports and get on with something else!
I am proud that I stayed so consistent with calorie counting!
70 days of green check marks…I have never counted calories this consistently before, and I have never had this level of success.
Consistency creates magic!
What I’m reading
I’m still reading the same two books from last week. The main book that I have to read 10 pages from is The Psychology of Money. I’ll be honest, I’m ready to be done with that one! I have about 2 or 3 more days left.
I’m also reading Very Good Copy, and I really, really like this one. It has tiny chapters of, well…very good copy! It contains stories and lessons, and it’s super interesting.
It’s not a how-to guide on copywriting, but it shows you exactly how to write good copy.
Final Thoughts
My last day is Monday, and I’ll write up one final report on Tuesday.
See you then!

Nice work, I am not doing 75 hard, but I am in a weight management program and my experience is similar. Tracking is such a powerful ally to success. Nice job!
