I change my mind so much I rarely finish anything and this must stop. 🤣I started my 100-day challenge 8 days ago. And guess what? I haven't worked on it but for 1.5 hours. Once day. I made up my mind each day I don't follow through I have to stop and start over. this is a psychological block I truly believe I need therapy on, no kidding. Anyway, thanks for being transparent in the numbers. It makes things real and tangible for the rest of us. Great article and recommendations. Why is it you are a person who offers tremendous value and doesn't charge? (rhetorical question, haha) On a side note: How do you market for your Gumroad product? I'm thinking of putting my 100-day challenge products on there and bypassing Etsy to start. Happy Monday!
Still going strong Christina. Medium is very inconsistent and a rollercoaster with the MPP last minute decisions, lack of communication, and luck with hitting a viral article. One can understand how earnings can plunge or go up.
You sound like me 😂 Some days (ok, most days) I just don’t have it in me to care about notes, growth, etc etc. And of course I change my mind a lot, too. Crazy that after Medium took a major nose dive you had your best month ever!! Gives me hope and makes me want to continue publishing on Medium, just not as often
I know. I struggle with 2 opposing sides of my personality. On one side I’m extremely laid back and take each day as it comes. But on the flip side I’m extremely motivated and driven and want to succeed in life. It’s weird. Probably why I’m so confused all the time 😂
Christina, don't know if it bothers you but I get same alert on some of my posts..grrr
I bought your product in Gumroad about selling digital products and got the Gumroad info for free. Good information.
thank you 🙏
Was just wondering why not go paid on substack? i have over 550 total subs and have 17 paid now (last 2 months) and growing. You would do so well! Something to think about.
Enjoyed your post. Have a great weekend and Happy March 1st 🎉 Can you believe it? Time flies...
I'm happy the Gumroad guide was helpful. Let me know if you have any questions.
My newsletter was paid, but I felt a lot of pressure to overdeliver and come up with new things that would be valuable for subscribers. It wasn't worth the stress honestly. I'm glad yours is doing well!
I would call it a senior moment but it's 64. I definitely do not feel like a senior. I feel like in my late 30s early 40s if there's such a thing age is just a number anyway 😉
Hey looks like you’ve been cloned on Medium.
I tried uploading the screenshot here, but it’s not showing. Is there a way to DM you here?
I saw your DM, thank you!

Thanks so much for all your kind words. We should start a support group for people who change their minds too much. lol
I market my Gumroad products just through this newsletter and through Medium. I don't do anything fancier than that.
I think the challenges would do well on Gumroad. It will be good to test it out anyway. There's nothing to lose!
Haha, wonderful idea, I'm not in any support groups as of now. :)
It's weird, I originally started this Substack to market digital printables and found out quickly nobody was remotely interested in my products.
Maybe I'll try IG for fun. I'll have one but never use it. My husband uses his more than I do, kinda weird, hahah.
That’s like my husband who’s obsessed with TikTok while I can’t get into it. Haha
Well done... it's good to see
Thanks, Mark!

But you're doing well and keep it up.
Medium is such a roller coaster. Good thing I like roller coasters! haha Thanks for stopping by Mario. :)
I change my mind a lot. 😅 Me, too! 😄
I'm seriously thinking of starting a support group! hahaha
Your 2025 YTD is ahead of your 2024 pace; keep it up!
Thanks, Jamie! We'll see what happens...
Still very good progress. Keep going!
Thanks, Robin!

Thank you so much for supporting me on ko-fi! That’s amazing 🤩 I appreciate you!!
My pleasure!

We are 100% alike. This is me every day. 😆 Split personalities. 🙃
I'm glad I'm not alone with caring enough. haha But...it's not the best attitude to have to bring in big success.

Which alert are you referring to?

And yes, time flies so much!
i'm looking back over your article and I'm wondering where I got that thought as well (alerts) maybe I was doing two things at once ....my apologies

No worries!
