What's your opinion on "Buy me Coffee" or "ko-fi" platforms where also we could have infinite numbervof email lists free forever? Can I consider ko-fi platform for own newsletters instead of convert kit? If not, why?

I’m not sure. I haven’t tried it. If you look into it more, let me know. I would be interested to hear what it’s like.

Thanks a lot. I would like to know if it's better to write different topics on Medium snd Substack or same ditto topic? Also, if given the option of only choosing one option between Medium vs Substack, what would you choose and why?

I copy and paste some articles from Medium to Substack. Sometimes I write exclusive content for Substack. All of my posts are free at this point. I don't have a solid strategy in place yet.

If I had to choose between Medium and Substack, I would probably choose Medium. I'm just more used to it, and therefore it's much easier for me to use. (And I've built up a decent following and income there already.)

But... Substack has so much potential. That's why I like to use both.

Thanks, Christina! I'm curious, how do you recommend integrating Medium and Substack? I wrote on Medium years ago and I recall that you only got paid if that was an original post started and published on Medium.

Do you post their first and then cross reference to Substack? I would love to know your process!

You can post on both sites. The easiest thing to do is post on Substack and then import to Medium. (They have an import link and it makes the process very simple.)

But I never do that. I always post on Medium and then copy and paste into Substack. I don't have a particular reason why except I think writing on Medium is a little easier. (Substack has an import function too, but I can't seem to get it to work!)

I also create some content exclusive to Substack.

Thank you for this great article, Christina.

I started with Gumroad in August and did my second product last weekend.

How often do you publish on Medium?

Nice, Finn!

I usually get 4-6 articles done per week.

That is amazing amount of articles, and they are high quality ones - I've read your work.

I can put out barely one story per week.

Thanks Christina for the informative article and the great examples included within.

I was just going to ask you and I see you published a book on KDP Amazon in July. Congrats!

Have you thought about selling it as an ebook also?

With your content, you could be selling hundreds of ebooks on Amazon. :-)

And its always great to see another WA member. :-)

I sell it as an ebook on Gumroad. From what I understand, I can't have it on both platforms.

You can publish your book on other platforms after publishing it on KDP, as long as it's not enrolled in Kindle Unlimited.

KDP Select: If you enroll your book in KDP Select, you can't offer it anywhere else.

Those are the only restrictions that I have seen, Christina. :-)
