How to Create a List in Benable (in 7 Easy Steps)
Create lists on any topics you’re interested in (and make affiliate sales too)

This quick tutorial was based on a request from
, and I hope it helps you, too.She asked how to create a list in Benable.
It’s easy!
It only takes 7 super simple steps.
Once you’re on your profile page, click the plus sign.
2. Decide if you want to create a list or a collection.
Let’s stick with a list for now, but a collection allows you to organize your lists into categories. For example, here’s my collection “How to Make Money Online”:
3. Name your list. (I’m creating a new one for Benable’s $100 cash contest for the “Super Niche” category. But you can create yours on any topic you’d like.)
4. Once you name your list, click on it and add a description. (I recommend adding keywords to your list title and description if you can. Your lists can show up on Google.) Then click on the arrow to start adding to your list.
5. Add keywords, or a link to search for your item to add. I’m going to add a story from my Master of Manifesting Substack, so I’ll pop the link into the box and then hit enter.
6. Once your item pops up, you can choose from the photos on the right, add a photo URL, or upload photos from your computer.
7. Hit the “Next: Add note” button. Add content about the item you picked (use keywords again if you can) and then hit “Confirm”.
Now your item shows up in your list, and you can keep hitting the plus button to add more.
You need around 12-15 items to get the “List Optimized” badge, as shown here:
Benable loves a variety of lists! So feel free to let loose and create lists from every possible category.

Did you know I also share short lists of links to everything I learn about making money online in this mini newsletter? → intellectualists.com
I love how simple you’ve made the process feel, especially with the added tip about using keywords for SEO.
I also believe it’s smart to focus on consistency, building out lists over time, and keeping them diverse.
I'm confused about what Benable is. Is it intended to show up when people Google "books about container gardening", or do you embed it in a post about container gardening, to make affiliate sales easy?
