Totally agree with you on this! Many people get a kind of kick by discouraged advices or pushing down your throat, what worked for them. ..

Yes, I do agree that it's absolutely fine to disagree if I don't agree with others and it's absolutely fine to test your own ground instead of testing others' grounds! Worst case, you may fail, so what? We learn valuable lessons from failures...

Exactly! Failure is good because it’s more information.

I've tried to use Reddit multiple times, and I'm not sure what turns me away more: the people, the content, or the interface.

Me too! I often do a Google search and add +reddit because I like to see what people say on there. But then the people are often disappointing. lol

Same here! It can be a really good source of information but sometimes you have to wade through a lot of other stuff to get there.

I love everything about this, Christina. And true, everyone is sharing their own perspective and experiences. From personal experience, I think an ebook is the best way to start earning from your writing. Of course, most people miss the trick ❤️

I agree and that's why I hope people don't look too much for other people's opinions about something they want to do. People love to drag others down with them...

Yep, fully agree with you that we need to use our own reasoned choice to filter out good and bad advice.

Ryan Holiday refers to the philosopher Epictetus, Discourses, 2,10,1 and I quote;

«Consider who you are. Above all, a human being, carrying no greater power than your own reasoned choice, which oversees all other things, and is free from any other master»

I’ve never heard of that quote, but it’s so good! Thank you for sharing!
